Thread: 7mm08 and the 162gr amax

Thought I'd chuck up a wee update, tried some 2209 in it a while ago, got it up to just over 2700fps with the 24 inch barrel and 46.5gr, it wasn't shooting very well so sent it in to get the shortened to 20inches as it looked like it was a little bit pitted in the end of the barrel. Chronographed it today at 2600fps with the same load with a bit more promising accuracy, I'll try tinker with the load to see I can fine tune it a bit and see what it does.
