Spear did note he was loading long at 3" rather than the 2.8" sami standard, this will lower pressure or allow for more powder.
Still need to run through a model ie GRT etc.

The difference from loading to a longer length and increasing the powder charge to fill the space is very small as is the extra velocity from improved cases. There is a method for calculating this so I ran the numbers. It works out to an additional 17 fps. Many claim large increases from loading long or AI cases but most of this comes from more pressure.
