Thread: 7mm08 load data

Hi all, just started to doing reloading and currently have ar2208 powder and Hornady 139g sp bt interlock projectiles, with 42 grains of powder its working ok but keen to hear what othres are using, rifle is x7 marlin

My XS7 use to like 43g of 2208 with a 139gr SST for 2875 fps

How do the hornady projectiles perform accuracy wise? I've got 140gr sierra spbts with 42gr 2208 going at 2680fps (20 inch barrel). Thinking I might wanna give some hornady projectiles a go.

groups are good 4 shots inside 1" at 100m

40gr 2208 in fed brass and 139gr interlocks. only developed an sighted, shot inch at 100 an could proberly do better with someone else behind it, happy for me.

around 2700 which id prefer more but think it will be fine.

previously used 150gr federal factory to good use...
