Anyone else loading 7mm08 with Hornady 139g interlock btsp and adi 2208 powder, just loaded 20 up with 44grn powder all winchester brass. Interested to hear what others are using.

Thanks guys, that's interesting. 25/08IMP than makes me feel better with you using that amount of powder as my ADI book says 43.5gr for max load.
Yea they are getting close to max it that rifle but have used that load in a couple of others as well. The Noslers preform well my son only uses the 120grns and they shoot so bloody good.
Same with the 120 Nosler and CFE223.
Have a 120g TTSX load that I run with cfe223. It's pretty quick too

43.2gr 2208 + 140gr BT @2740fps - 20" tube. Slow-ish but ridiculously accurate. Plenty of notches on its belt out past 500.
I also have a 2206h load doing 2825fps but it's a little harder on the brass.
19.5 inch suppressed t3 708 - worked up a few loads recently , all loads under an inch. 139 interlock, 47 g of win760 mid 2850fps . Barnes ttsx 120, 50 g of win760 at just over 3000fps . Amax 162, 47g of win760 at around 2750fps.
hey mate how have u gone with this load on game etc?
I am loadin similar although only 40gr in Fed brass, got pressure signs early on, I think tight chamber, maybe big brass. whatever its all good just not fast.
have you chronoed?
I est 2700, u must be close to 2800.

Some good info in this thread.
Have used 2209, RE19 and currently RE17. Only used 140 NABs in it and will do sub moa with all those powders.
I have no clue as to velocity but it kills ok.
Have just had the barrel chopped to 18" (was 22") so will be interesting to see what effect this has on accuracy.
