About LinkBacksWhen I had a 708 I used the Hornady 139 gr SP with good results, I also tried the Barnes XLC 140 gr and even at about 2700 fps they opened up well. Most the time these were shot at bush hunting ranges so still had a bit of speed behind them. I have loaded for other people the 150 gr ELDX at around 2700 fps and these work well too.
