    Question 7mm08 reload - noob

    Looking at loading 7mm08 T3 19".
I have the help of some good local loaders but they suggested to ask around ref the particular specs.
Have Nosler BT 140g and Remington brass.
Thinking ADi 2209 or 2208 powder.
Was suggested 48 grains as a compressed load and
    GM210 primers....?

Was wondering what people with similar rifles are running.

    Thanks in advance.

48gr of 2209 is the adi max with a 140gr.

If using 2208 you wouldnt want to much above 43gr with a 140gr

Obviously always work up in .5g increments to find max in your rifle.

In my 7mm-08 43gr of 2208 was very accurate with both a 130gr and 140gr

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply guys. I think I trialled some 2208 that a mate loaded a while back and got 2545FPS with the 19inch barrel. Not sure on the grain though. Hoping to get around 2700. Achievable? @Gibo: look foward to seeing your formulas.

    Yep, 43.5 of 2208 is -plenty- with a 140BT.
44 was pretty damn warm in my 22" bbl and 44.5 was def too hot

For my tikka I load remmy brass, 140 nbt over 2208, 42 gr cci 200's at mag length for 2610. 18 inch barrel. Could go faster for sure but shoots 1/2 inch so didn't bother climbing the ladder further.
