    7mm08 tikka all round load for a starter

    Hey guys - not for me i swear!

    A mates just purchased a tikka 7m08

    Whats a good safe accurate alround load for it?

    140gr BT - 42/43gr 2208.

    Should easily shoot under an inch with out much drama.

    +1 for the 140 BTs...good accuracy and knockdown

    If its chopped and suppressed, use 2206h rather than the 2208 but both will work

    i use 139 sst with 42gr 2206h factory length under 1/2 inc no worries for me

    Same load as pop shot 0-500 sorted

    2206H is faster burning than 2208 and goes well in shorter barrels.

    That Load that Popshot mentioned is a winner ,tryed with 2206h and 2209 with varying sucess ,,,with 2208 seems to be the sweet spot with a std length tikka

    Is 120gr better for short range? I'm trying to decide on a projectile for mine I shoot 5m - 400m.
