Foot pounds of energy kills nothing. Velocity and pill construction however.....

Important to decide if all the animals you shoot are so far away that you need the extra velocity - if that is the case, get a 7mm Mag instead. Leave the suppressor off and enjoy the velocity of a proper length barrel. (without being any longer than your 20" with a can hanging off it)

- If, however, you are like most of us and shoot your deer inside 300yds, your 7mm08 is just what you need! Save the money for pills and powder.

In conclusion. I'm sayin "don't do it"!
