Just catching up on some reading here.

I’ve just done my first ladder tests with H4831sc using Hornady brass and fed 215 primers , ELD-M
The accuracy was pretty good but a fair bit slower than I would have liked. Book max was 64 gr and I was finding pressure signs at about 62.5gr-63gr and only hit 2830 fps max out of a 20” barrel.

I was hopin for a little more room to move with that one but have just got a lb of retumbo (2225) to try out. Will see if I can get a little less pressure with a little more speed.

I have a box of adg brass sitting there but I kind of want to make all my mistakes and tinker on the hornady brass because I start on the adg. Is that a dumb idea? Should I just start with the retumbo In The adg brass Name: IMG_6145.jpeg

That’s not bad for 180 class projectiles from 20 inches of barrel. I got 2850 with 2225 and then hit pressure. Re26 would get close to 2900

Reloader 26 wre primers I actually only done a ladder with 2225 out of curiosity it was a very accurate ladder given the press in powder charges
