OK I have just caught up on this one. It is a crap chambering job and needs to be redone. The barrel needs to be shortened at least 6mm and the thread put forward the same amount then carefully rechambered, withdrawing and cleaning the reamer frequently with good cutting oil to prevent 'picking up'. It depends on the barrel profile whether or not this can be achieved. Some barrels (BSA, Parker Hale, etc.) only have a narrow shoulder in front of the receiver. A parallel reinforce of 12mm or more will be fine for setting back. Polishing the chamber will solve the extraction problems (probably) but will give an oversize chamber. The photos look like the chamber is fairly generous already.
