    7x57 loads

    Is anyone loading for a 7x57 ? Any recipes appreciated. I'm just trying to sort a load for a Mauser.

    Doesn't have to be super accurate. Just bone smashing power as its a bush rifle.

    I have one, it's an old girl but anyway 41 grns off 2208 with 160 Barnes is a tight load with that particular rifle.

    Wasnt there a thread on here a while back about loads for it? Turned to a big rifle brand debate so only first page was useful but seem to remember something

    We use 42gr 2208 with 140 gr SP or Ballistic tip for mid range shooting.
