Not after anyone’s load ( and don’t suggest 2209 ) but with a 130 gr what loads are people using ?

The 7mm-08 has slightly less capacity than the 7x57 so you could use its data for a rough guide. Hodgdon lists a max of 43.5 grains of Varget with the 130 grain in the 7mm-08 v 42 grains in the 7x57 so the 44 grains you mention would be max in a recent rifle. Stick with the 42 grain load for any older rifles. Either load would work and you would struggle to tell the difference.
