Thread: 9mm powder choice?

Started reloading the 9mm glock 17L, have been finishing off some AP50, shooting 124gn berrys. Is there a better powder available or stick with the 50?

AP50 is easy to get at the moment unlike anything else for pistols. I use 4grains with 124 berrys and cast with reasonable results but in a CZ75.

Easy to get-who has it in stock? Tried all my locals and nothing. AP70 coming shortly so have ordered some of that but I find 50 fine in the glock.

I use ap50 in my glock and sig , no probs

Vv n320 is good, but hard to get. In saying that ap50 and ap70 work well and 231 too.

My powder of choice is Unique , Good in 9mm ,357mag,44mag, 45acp and reduced loads (10grains) in 303,308 and 8grains in 7.62x39. Its a bit dirty but then so am I. Havent seen any in over a year. Ap70 is a pretty close equiv but thats been hard to get also.

Buy it if you see it, there's not a lot of AP50 around at the moment but more is due in soon (with no date).

Yeah I sold 2 pound of ap50 to a needy shooter in Hamilton. He picked it up from my work when I was out. Not so much as a thank you from the miserable shit. Should have sold it to a more grateful dude.
