ADI 62gr .224 Projectiles any good?

Just looking at getting some bulk projectiles to feed my Bushmaster.

Will these go OK in a 1-9 barrel? I'm after 55gr to match my recticle but can't seem to find any for a reasonable price. I see they are steel cored so a bit worried they'll punch through everything.

Only going to be used for gong bashing and a few peacocks and turkeys.

Any other decent bulk deals out there?

    Yeah that's what I use for SR. In a 1-9 too (16")

There's a guy on tardme selling them in weight sorted batches of .1gr variance, very good dude to deal with (hand delivers sometimes)

I found the ADI average at best. I still have a few thousand so my plan is to sort them by weight and see if that helps

The 55gn fmj hornady works well for me and not that much more than the ADI when I last bought it(a couple of years back to be fair) and full lead core so ok for steel targets etc unlike the ADI

55gr Hornady soft points in bulk are better value in my opinion. But I have had trouble getting anything much better than government accuracy in my AR's with them. And your ACR has a fairly average AR barrel.

Both these are not optimised/fully developed yet but fairly close.

Actually Wayne is doing them for 17.5 cents each if you buy them by the 1000.

I use them for SR, as my AR likes heavier projectiles and the Hornady 55gn FMJs and SPs didn't group any better but cost a little bit more.

Same here, Any ideas what would be a good barrel makers/sellers in NZ? ideally I'd like to get to 1/4moa with a 24 or 26 inch barrel, is that possible with an AR?

Think his price has gone up a wee bit, $185 for 1000 cant remember if that includes postage
