    ADI Brass

Has anyone tried the ADI brass , thinking specifically about 223 in a bolt gun.

Always been good ADI, in a bolt or semi auto.

On more thing I've been reading it's a bit heavier so capacity maybe reduced compared to other brands, has anyone found this?

I use it in my Ruger 223 bolt action, seems to work fine. One thing I found is that a lot of the cases needed trimming after the first firing, so definitely check your case length. I always check every case on the Lyman E-zee gauge (sp?). All the ADI 223 were okay new, probably more than a third were overlength after first firing, necksized only.
From what load development I have done so far, my loads are a bit below listed max but listed starting loads were safe as a starting point (ADI data using AR2208).

I'm using it at book max for my AR using CFE 223. So far very happy.

Yup, book max for me too using BM2 with 50gr V-Max, and AR2206H with 60gr Nosler BTs. Haven’t had the over length problem mentioned above. Neck sizing only for first 4 loads, then a full-length resize, rinse and repeat.... am up to my 9th loading of this brass now, all good, everything still within spec.
