Anyone tried this stuff? I was just given a hand full by a mate.

Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
filthy powder just like all aguila
Dirty as mentioned but my 10/22 loves them. Possums not so much...they hit hard and with a decent supressor very little report
Will they stabilise in your standard .22lr?

Yup didn't in mine. Didn't group that well at all.
When sighting in in a little spot they would make a whirring noise after hitting the ground behind the target.
Thought I had a reasonable group 80m out but never got back to try again.
They were a bit speedy though.
I did think they would hit quite hard and if they tumbled on impact like I thought would do a bit of damage
They shot okay in my Remington .22
Showed a very curved trajectory as you'd expect with such a heavy bullet
Not really sure what they're intended for, but I can't think of a better .22 round for homekill sheep or pigs at close range
Awesome in a suppressed pistol

Hi all
i found these didnt work flight wise in my bang sticks [shot gun groups an sideways impacts ]
but i came across a Volquartsen fast twist 1:8 22lr Ruger 10/22 barrel for sale
Had read online that the heavy 60gn on semis would open the bolt a tad before the bigger massed projectile would fly down the barrel
so built a bolt action to use this barrel ..still didnt have the moa that i felt should happen
there was a factory fitted thread adaptor on the Volquartsen barrel so had this removed ,rethreaded the barrel direct to a good AimSport suppressor
Wish i had used a better quality donner bolt action
Now i have a good moa shooter @ 75 m zero .Very Very quiet but man do those 60grain hit hard
cheers to all
note : the knurled thread adapter still fitted on this barrel
