About LinkBacks+1 on everything you say. I have just changed to barnes from a more explody projectile (Sierra Game King) and I can't understand why I didn't do it before. They have done studies in the states by xraying shot animals and the lead bullet fragments go further than the visible meat damage e.g. shot in the neck and fragments in the front leg. Lead makes you stupid and there is enough of that already.
