Hi All, with everything reloading being hard to come by, wondering if anyone has bought stuff from Aussie or the UK recently as a last resort. Any issues, problems, reasons it's not worth it? Cheers in advance

What brass are you after?
Dies ship from the UK no worries.
"Sixty percent of the time,it works every time"
Cheers for that. Considering rebarrelling to 6.5x47 lapua so looking for lapua brass. None around in NZ that I can find and no ETA as with most things. Several retailers in Aus and UK have the odd thing in stock so hoping it's possible to get reloading stuff other than powder/primers in.
BRT in Oz for dies. They won't sell brass projectiles or March scopes to NZ.
They provide a very good service.

Check our local Workshop Innovation first for stock.
Cheers Caberslash, PM on the way
Thanks will keep them in mind. Nothing at Workshop Innovation at the moment unfortunately.
Dies and parts of dies ex Oz are no problem, have dealt with Simplex several times
Identify your target beyond all doubt
I got a die from BRT a couple of months ago, came in the post like anything else, no issues whatsoever. Price was the same as local advertised ones however the local places had no stock.
I went down this route looking for 308 and 284win brass from lapua.
And Sierra projectiles.
The short of it is: you can't.
Basically I was told by numerous Aussie retailers that all the brands like those mentioned above have different distributors for different regions and as such its against their policy to sell from one region to another.
To do so would jeopardize their contract with said brand.
In short it's in the too hard basket for projectiles and brass
I took up bike riding, so i could ride around thinking about how i'd rather be plinking at the range. (Sigh)
Thanks, I thought as much.
Another option might be to ask a good bugger like caberslash (UK resident) to help out, by buying online and using their address for delivery, then they forward on to us in NZ. My question there would be whether any permit (either UK or NZ) is needed to have brass, projectiles sent in the post. Will check with local AO.
I was getting 284 brass from march in uk, needed an export license but they sorted that easy enough
He means March scopes https://www.marchscopes.co.uk/
