    AR 2217 for 300 wsm

With my preferred powders being pretty much non existant but this being readily availabe, i thought it might be worth a try.
ADI show it gives good velocities with heavies in 270/7mm wsm's but not so much in the 300.
Just wondering if anyone uses this in 300 wsm with 208/210/215 range projectiles and what speeds you're getting?
    Cheers

2217 is a great powder for heavies. My .300WM with a 26” barrel does 2980 with 208s. 2217 is also very temp stable and pretty easy to find.

@Pommy are you using standard or mag primers for that load?
Also do you think I'd get sufficient burn in a 22inch barrel? So far all of the info I've seen is for 26inch or longer.

I got a smaller ES using magnums. Didn't make much difference to velocity.

Velocity dropped to 2760-2790 in a factory 24" barrel. No info on anything shorter sorry.
