Any ideas of a starting load for a 30-338 win mag. I have some load data in Winchester powder but curious what the max & min load is for ADI powders. Then I would have a starting point. Most stuff I've found is in every powder except adi.

    Any ideas or suggestions
Quickload gives the following MAX loads and velocity based on a 26" barrel

    190 berger AR2209 69gr 2991fps
    190 berger Ar2213SC 71gr 2970 fps

    210 berger AR2209 66gr 2834 fps
    210 berger AR2213SC 68.5gr 2820fps

I can bring a chrony on Saturday

A few loads here to give you an indication.

    .30-338 Winchester Magnum @ www.reloadersnest.com

Looks like 2213 & 2217 would be worth investigating.

Compared to the Hodgdon/Adi 300 Win mag data the weight differences between those two powders is a little close, are they the same pressures according to quick load ?

Thanks for the offer, but the NI Chrony should be arriving today for me to use.
I'm doing some shooting on the weekend. I don't have the Bergers yet. Picking them up on Saturday as well.

Might get some 2217 and give that a go as well to see if that's better.

@NZShoota would you have any data for 240g. I think they are SMK.
The heaviest I found in what everyone has given is for 220g.

I have them so might as well use them I guess.

Pressure up around 60600psi for both powders /loads. It only gives a rough indication.
