Barnaul Rifle Cartridges (x100 total) .308 (7.62x51) 140gr Soft point Lacquered steel

    Hi Lads, and lasses,

Im looking at buying some cheap ammo, more just for targeting shooting than hunting, I just want to know if it is ok to use lacquered steel cartridges or will it fuck my barrel ? Thanks.

Just make sure you clean the barrel well before you put the rifle away.
If you find yourself in a fair fight....your tactics suck

Have used them before in a mossberg 308 I had and had no issues infact the bloody thing liked them so it made for real cheap shooting and bowled a pig with the ammo at 350 meters so it is ok for hunting if you get caught short on your regular hunting round.

    Whats normal.........

I just run a oiled patch thru till they come out clean, it generally takes a few extra patches after you have been shooting barnual than usual.
