Anyone shooting the Barnes 110 TTSX in their 7mm08? How do they perform & what powder combination did you end up with? Looks like it could be a good flat shooting load for up to Sika sized deer out to 300 yds.

110TTSX? Did not know they made this weight. 120TSX I have doing 3100 in a 24" Blaser with 44.5g 2208 (I think). Good accuracy and nothing gets up. Favouring the 140BT at the moment though as they kill just as well, are accurate and are easier on the pocket. The BT shot fastest as best with RL15, I also tried the 120TTSX. Same load as the TSX would not shoot as fast or as accurate. RL15 was also no good in mine with the 120's.
i have my old mans 6.5/06 loaded with 120 ttsx i think it was pushed by 54grns of ADI 2209 shot a pig with it tonight impressed with wound channel it hit so hard is sucked it's guts out on the way out. would have no trouble dropping deer at range, hopefully find that out this weekend. 7mm 08 great round farm owners son has a sako has dropped animals up and down the country with it. have found in the 06 that the ttsx was about 2" higher at 100yards verses the lead cored bullets. with 3" high at 150 yards it is good to about 380yards before adjusting for drop.
Just got a 7 08 with a short barrel going (17.5 inches). Its suppressed and with 45 grains 2206H and a 110 barnes ttsx its doing about 3080 fps. Shot a sika hind the other day and it did the job (at about 100 odd yards). Shoots very accurately.
I use the 110gr ttsx with 45gr H335 out of an 18" barrel. I've shot a red spiker at 150yds. It was 3/4 away. Bullet hit last couple of ribs and exited next to the neck. Also shot a couple of goats at 100yds both DRT.
