To make space for 26.5 grns of 2206 you need to trickle it in, and tap the base of the case to get it to settle. It should come to about the the base of the neck/top of shoulder. I use quite thick cases (Norma) and thats about where it comes to. If its not settled it comes about half way up the neck. That's still ok. You can sit the projectile in the neck, and crush the powder down when you seat the bullet to your per-determined overall length.

If this isn't whats happening for you, stop right now, 'cos something is wrong.

That's almost precisely what happened. With the 26.5. I managed to seat the pill deep enough in the end..

The two best were 25.0 and 26.5.

Tomorrow I'll do a few more of those loads
