    Barnes Varmint Grenades

Want to try some of these in my 223 just for shits and giggles.

    Anyone tried these before?

Berger specs recommend a 1:10 or faster, but my 223 is a 1:12.
Should I still give them a go?

Sounds like the 50gr will be no good for my twist rate, so I'll have to try some 36gr pills.

Save your money and buy some TNT's or Vmax - you will never notice any difference in splat and they are nice and cheap + accurate

I've tried them up to about 4200fps years ago and they did nothing any other varmint bullet does.

    Good marketing

I'm using 55gr V-Max at the moment with good effects, but thought those grenades might be more spectacular.

    TNT's?? will look into them.
