    Barnes Velocity

    So im working up a load for my mighty 270 and I'm using 110g TTSX. Have no experience with Barnes at all.
    I seem to read that the faster the better, at 53g W760 I'm shooting them in the same hole and I want to stop there but only averaging 2950fps. Don't have a lot of projectiles. Barnes has a book max of 57.5. Is my 2950 fast enough?

    This is a bush gun and 250m would be the longest shot I'd most likely see.
