    My experience with .308 is the faster burning AR2206H gives better velocity and equal consistency to AR2208 with 125-150gr bullets, especially in 20" or shorter barrels . I find that AR2008 is great with 165gr .308 and 150gr in 22" and longer barrels.

    W748 is definitely a dirty powder. It also seems to give more consistency day to day by loading it with magnum primers which can raise the pressure so usual reloading safety procedures to apply.
