    Belmont powders

    Anyone used them?

I'm quite a patriotic kiwi and the idea of running as much of gear that works whilst being kiwi made is well not super important but I'd prefer to keep someone here in work and buy local.

WIN 760 Powder (New) – Belmont Ammunition

I'm just wanting people's all round experiences particularly for said powder for use in a 300 win mag.
    Cheers folks!

Belmont powder is made by St Marks Powder in the USA.

The only people you are keeping employed in this country are the people who take it out of big casks of powder and pour it into smaller bottles of powder. Then sell it.

That said, it will work fine in 300 Win Mag and is cheap to buy from Belmont.

A good alternative to a ADI if it isn't available?

Not really, 760 is ,generally, too fast for a .300 Win Mag and these powders are a lot more temperature sensitive than ADI. But if it works it is cheap so why not.
