About LinkBacksHmmmm - Was playing about with some scenarios for a 223 with a 24" barrel and 80 Gn sierras today. Based on @Beavis thoughts above I modeled PP 2000 MR for 80 Gn's in GRT and it (the PP 2000) is "ideal" , 26.0 grains would be lust slightly compreessed, which p[owders of theis type "usually like" and giving 2900 fps - pretty good for a 223 with 80 gns and a 24" barrel
