I have berdan primers.
What case are they.
The primer is removed using the depriming tool, and then the berdan primers are seated to the desired depth, and then you are good to go.
There are other ways by hydraulic using water.
I'm sure others on here will know far more than me.
Have never done them but that's what I've been told is what has to be done.
Actually it's gonna be far more mahi than it's worth so will flag it.
Yep once the first time has been done and the remaining crimp removed it's all very easy. Some brass brands are virtually impossible to deprime manually, I have some very good ADI F4 ball here which is very high quality brass but the crimps on the primers effectively mean you need to do the inital deprime in a lathe and cut the military primer and crimp out then flick the remaining side wall of the primer cup out before final swaging and prep of the primer pocket. It's almost like there's a full crimp around the rim of the primer's cup with three additional deep swages - total overkill when you consider the amount of surface area of the in total four primer retaining points. Such a pain in the arse because the brass is very good and after the first deprime it's actually quite easy to reload Berdan cases.
