As per title, looking for some good loads for this rifle. 16" barrel model. Would also be keen to hear of any subsonic loads too.

"That is ever the way of the Highlander. He alters like a clear pool to every mood of the sky, so that the shallow observer knows not how deep the waters are."
I have a Rossi in the same dimensions, I'm using 44gr of 2208 behind 150gr Nosler ballistic tip giving me 2581 on the chrony
Happy Jack.
Greetings.
From a 20" Bergara barrel 41 grains of AR2206H should produce around 2,500 fps with the 150 grain Norma semi pointed projectile. This is interpolated between 38 and 44 grain chronographed loads of the same powder in my M700 20" barrel. You should lose about 100 fps in the 16" barrel. One thing I have found is that the cartridge needs to chamber freely for best accuracy. My rifle has a DPT muzzle forward suppressor. Shoots well.
Regards Grandpamac,
45gr of 2208 behind a 165gr speer BTSP. Getting 2566 fps, ES of 14 fps over 10 shots. Photo attached from initial load development.
