I used them in my 7mm mag at about 3060fps. Shot game out to 600yds with them. Worked well. Performance was pretty indentical to 162 a-max.

I used them pretty much exclusively out of my 7mm Rem Mag running at around 3070fps. Beyond 500yds I have had mixed results with complete pass throughs on Sambar deer. Extremely accurate but really need to hit something hard to open up once you push the distance a bit. You can see some of them being used here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6St...EIZ3ldcAn1L0WF

Does anyone know if they have less bearing surface than the 162 ELDX or more.

Less and I can tell you that you will get higher velocities with the ELDX. I am getting around 3160FPS with the projectile you mention but yet to try them on live game.

I don't really see the point of the 150. I run the 162 Amax in my 17" barreled 284win as well at only 2740 fps and due to the high bc still holds 1000 ft lbs and 1800 fps to 900 yards at 1000m altitude.

So a short barrel saum would better that.

I really like them wouldn't piss around with anything else now. I'm pushing them at 3220 fps though.
