    Berger load data 185vld 300wsm

Anyone got the Berger factory load data for the 185vld hunting in 300wsm using rl17 please.

I’ve been using 61gn and getting 2850fps and great accuracy. New powder lot is at 3000fps accuracy is still ok and no bolt stickiness but that’s quite a variation.

Anyone else had this variation with rl17? Cheers

Yeah I use 62gr of RL 17 with 200gr eldx in my 300wsm xbolt and get 2920fps, primers just starting to flatten off.
    Awesome load will never change.

Thanks I’ve got some of those eldx, been meaning to give them a try.
Do you find much variation between lots of rl17?

I bought a 5lbs container haven't tried any other batches.
Eldx 200gr are great bullets from up close to 600yards on red stags and bull thar.
Thinking of loading a 243 for the boy rl17 and was wondering about different batches, don't want to use all of this good batch on the 243 if the next lots different.

I could only get 6lb in 1lb pots. 3lb from one lot and three in another. Like I said in earlier post I jumped 150fps compared to what I was getting from the stuff that ran out. I’ll try the other lot and compare, if there’s much variation between these two lots I’ll flick you a pm

Apparently it's temp sensitive but there's varying reports. 2213sc is what a lot of people use. I'm pushing 208s at 2800fps with 2213 in 24 inch barrel and only just a little flattening in primer, no other signs.
You should be able to get those 185s humming pretty well if you wanted to give it a go. Plenty of load data on ADI website.
