ahh that's interesting with the bi-metal part. lol I hate searching for cases in the grass! So if I can get a steel case with copper bullet at a good price then that is the go. Cheers

Ammo
I'm ordering some of this next week to see how it shoots, will be buying 1-2 thousand if it groups ok from my AR.
Target shooting for ASRA. That belmont ammo seems like a very reasonable price $0.69c per bullet. I am going to get some to try.I think most comps use between 70 - 120 rounds. So not a huge amount but still enough to make it expensive if buying Winchester brass or something like that.
FYI that zinc stuff was difficult to extra from my Howa after firing.
+1 for Hornady training ammo if/when it becomes available. Like Gimp I'm only down to my last couple of hundred, I cuddle them at night and talk to them. I've seen some on TM from time to time for $55/box.
If you're after stuff to walk in, pay and walk out with, then Reloaders in Onehunga who also usually get a regular supply of the Hornady stuff. If you're happy to go to Police, wait, get forms signed, fax off, wait for courier to deliver then Belmont is a great option. It's just that sometimes it's easier to drive to the shop and drive away with the components.
$1.10 per shot for Hornady is not too bad if it shoots well. Hey gimp where did you get it for .61c? Was that from someone on the forum?
