Do you get cratered primers with factory loads in that rifle? My 300 Rum craters primers with any load I have tried so it could be the firing pin or something else along those lines.
So long as your bolt lift is fine and the primers aren't flattening out in the primer pocket you should be alright.
I load 25 grs of BM2 with the 55 gr SP /WC and they crater like that too, my rifle is a Rem Mod 7 223
