I reload 6.5CM but in Hornady and starline brass and have not come across that. ( I've had some warm loads too)
Hard to say from the pic but it looks like a deformation in the brass.
Are you sure it comes out in the tumbler or is it in decapping/resizing?

If it is a deformation I'd be a bit concerned on pressure signs / bolt face trueing.

Some of the other more experienced reloaders will have the answer I'm sure

Could be a few reasons if they were handloads so 1st off Id try some minimum charge loads to eliminate the pressure factor. With factory ammo Id try another brand and see what happens. Other than that Id talk to a reputable gunsmith about head-space or other mechanical issues.

Check the bolt face there could be something rubbing on the case, it doesn't look like the ejector is doing it, there are no other pressure signs
find a gunsmith that can square up the bolt face, Try Dave on 0212668527 he does all my gun plumbing.

Pressure indicators appear to be normal. I would be looking closely at the bolt face for roughness etc. If that needs to be refaced then the barrel would need to be set back to maintain headspace.

Put it into the fireplace, maybe there will be some writing appearing.

But seriously, this thread needs a picture of the bolt face, very interested.

I hear you has a Definite ring that matches the one on the brass
Just cleaned a bunch of brass off the bolt face aswell

The rifle is only 140 rounds old so I’ll take it back next week and see what they say

    Is it a Tikka?
The photo isnt that sharp to me but my guess ( and thats all it is ) is that your plunger is giving a false pressure sign.
( plunger on bolt face is holding too tightly so as you rotate ( cam ) the bolt it scores the case head )

My T3 does this but once I figured it out I was happy.

The ejector plunger should be removed and polished, and from all the small fragments I suspect there are light burrs on the edge of the ejector hole and possibly the edge of the extractor slot. An easy fix if you feel like it but nothing to worry about if you wish to leave it alone and allow it to wear in with time.

Both mine and at least one of @PommyMcPomFace's Howa do a similar thing. Doesn't do it the whole way around as this one appears to though.
