    Bringing brass back into NZ? Legalities?

    Hey guys,

    Soon to be returning home and am contemplating bringing back some brass with me. I've had a build in my mind for some time now and I've all but talked myself into it. However, the only issue was the shortage of brass but I have just recently found a good supply over here and at a very reasonable price per bag.

    Can I put it in my checked luggage? Is it easier to send it back home?

    What are the legalities here? Customs in NZ?
