Thread: bullets mold in NZ

Does anyone know where to buy bullet molds in NZ? Reloaders recently got a shipment in and sold out of their molds for 303 in like 24 hours, I was too slow to order one.

Keep your eyes peeled for a second hand one.

Put a WTB ad in the for sale section too.
And finally, check out the auctions, Carvells. Ted rogers. Antique arms.

I agree . Superbly made and can use Lee handles .Unfortunately Mihec is out of stock of nearly everything but will advise when caught up.

They are exceptional moods and arrive in about a week. The noe 6 cavity .314 and .316 205 grain moles are also excellent

Heres an idea, I had a martini enfield carbine that shot ok with jacketed flat base bullets but would put cast ones everywhere including sideways as it had a rather long eroded throat. After a few attempts I got good results from dropping to a bullet from my 308 cal mold and paper patching them with 80 GSM paper. It is fiddly with the smaller bullets but worked well.

Next stop Black Powder, then on to the final triumph, hand rolled brass foil cases.

I may try that with my M.E. for effect as it has a bulge in the barrel :>)
