Thread: bullets mold in NZ

Heres an idea, I had a martini enfield carbine that shot ok with jacketed flat base bullets but would put cast ones everywhere including sideways as it had a rather long eroded throat. After a few attempts I got good results from dropping to a bullet from my 308 cal mold and paper patching them with 80 GSM paper. It is fiddly with the smaller bullets but worked well.

Next stop Black Powder, then on to the final triumph, hand rolled brass foil cases.

I may try that with my M.E. for effect as it has a bulge in the barrel :>)
