    Caliper and case trimmer

    Evening all.

On the hunt for caliper and case trimmer for reloading. Brought the Hornady kit on reviews and recommendations but did not come with those 2 in it and have not been able to find a good guide on what to get. Advice? Will be reloading a few different calibres. Cheers 😊

I use Insize calipers and dial gauges, good quality at a reasonable price.

I use a mitutoyo caliper and Wilson case trimmer ( with case holders x3 forcdifferent cases). Cases trim up to +/- .001" mostly close than that.

Good quality at an expensive price.

You'll use your calipers a lot so if you can afford it at the time you'll get good value over many years.

For case trimming I just use the lee case trimming cutter which you can get for around $20 and fits into an electric drill & the respective gauges for each calibre which cost around $10

I quick whizz in the drill where the brass is then cut to size, debur inside & outside neck & all done.
