I use the stainless tumbling media tumbling (Stainless Steel Reloading Supplies | Tumblers, Seperators, Media & More!)
I just de-prime and throw then in the tumbler, I am very happy with the results
So you're using the Stainless dry or in one of his wet tumblers?
I've been looking at it for a while
Can the stainless stuff be used in a conventional tumbler? Or is a special bowl needed?
Ultrasonic cleaner does it for me, come out looking mint, just ordered a bigger one.
i reload on a tight budget
i use my lathe with the 4 jaw chuck (chuck is off set) with a milo tin(free)
i use ether rice, with braso
or proper media walnut
also use the lathe as my "powered" case trimmer
Ultrasonic cleaner. Wish i had of bought a slightly bigger one that was a little more powerful, but it works quite well inside and out. Mine does a reasonable job on the primer pockets but not extraordinary. The inside of the necks comes up beautifully. I add a dash of Oz Clean Shower Power and neutralise in baking soda do they stay really shiny.
i like to clean 1st, then size then deprime
keeps primer pockes clean and dosent put any media through the flash hole and deforme it
I use a tumbler for all my stuff
I use a bronse brush in a drill to clean inside the neck a modified screwdriver for primer pockets and if they are starting to look tatty I give em a quick polish on a buffing wheel.
Deprime first with depriming die.
Sonic cleaner with hot water and half teaspoon of citric acid.
Rinse and dry, all done.
Spotless inside cases and in the primer pockets.
Trick to to make sure there is no air trapped in the cases.
Anyone know where to buy tumbler media by the sack full? ie enough for a concrete mixer
