About LinkBacksBeing on or just over max in a 223 should be no probs at all.
The more the brass is fired the harder it gets.
I dont think that length is your issue -could file a dozen cases back roughly by hand and see if it makes any difference.
If it was me, it would be getting long throated or sold (if the chamber length is short thus causing your issue) as trimming 223 brass would be about as painfull as trying to reload 22 Shorts

It was only a few rounds that were hard to open bolt/eject, and the OAL of them was on max or over, all the others were fine and under max OAL, so I don't think it is a chamber size issue.
I don't mind trimming, it's all a learning curve for me at the moment.Life is natures way of keeping meat fresh
