Cast 151 gr feeding ok in a Tikka ?

    Cheers

No issues in my 308win but in the 300 blackout I can only single feed on top of empty magazine.

If you can't kill it with bullets, dont f*ck with it.

Yeah they feed better in my 308 vs 300blk. The 308 being longer doesn’t tent to let them go sideways as much and hit the flat end of the barrel

I just load them to the crimp ring and then crimp them.

Learning the art of crimping on straight wall cases. Next twirling them and admiring your hand work. Now that was esay eh. LOL.[ Got both the Redding and Lee crimp dies but have only used the Lee].Got some of Robert's 151 which I will now load after having learnt this strange art. I looked at so many posts about 44mag and know what ,they were all bloody helpful. As they say there are some talented b'stards on this Forum.

I did take my mag box out and smooth off all the sharp bits that the case would hang up on, them not getting a bit upset as the bullet to case step rode over it seemed to get rid of a lot of the sideways jammers

no sorry, mine is a kimber montana but the theory should hold over, if it dosent get off course by hitting anything as it slides out you wont have to correct it to get it in the hole
mines double stack but also controlled feed so a bit of a different animal

Didn’t feed well in my A7,went to the pointed 170g cast problem solved but not slot of expansion, those 151g open up real well when I single fed them.
