    Cast Bullets

Yo so I want some big-ass hard-cast Keith Style bullets for my .44

    I can get these

    https://shop.pbaimports.com.au/produ...0a2efge37ft374

which are mad cheap, but freight from Australia would be hilariously expensive, and it'd be impractical to bring them back in my luggage.

Anything of a comparable price in New Zealand?

Well when I can get these coated cast ones in Australia for 10c a bullet, it makes anything much more expensive seem very unreasonable.

Just after big hard-cast Keith Style bullets, 300gr would be the best I guess. Want cheap shooting for my .44 and good for killin' stuff.

I dug some copper plated 9mm out of the berm the other weekend.
    Had expanded well
44 in that style work for you?

300gr is like, the heaviest for .44. I want to run them as fast as possible from my Marlin.

Copper plated would be fine as long as it's a flat point I guess?

    Sweet as.

In the meantime I might buy 500 of those Australian coated cast ones and take them home in my luggage. Thank god for being a silver frequent flyer! (I think I get free luggage allowance)

Yep....I dont know if the crazy prices we are expected to pay to reload reflect the ammo shortage or simply thats the NZ price. In the US you can reload common ammo (.223, .308, 7.62x39mm etc) for less than factory loaded, here it seems to be 20% above barnual to reload on top of buying your own kit.....its plain nuts!

I can reload .223 with a 77gr SMK for about the same price as Barnaul dude, using once fired brass
