    Cost to get reloads made?

say I had the brass but that was all how much would it cost to get reloads made or is it still cheaper to get ammo from the shops?
also if I gave you money to buy the projectiles I would want to use. so really it is just the powder, primers and your time.

There's a few crowds around that do it. Sorry I can't remember their names though. I remember at Hunting and Fishing once (Botany) there were a bunch of business cards at the till for a crowd that do them. I'll keep my eye out next time I'm in, otherwise Google is your friend

You should learn how to do it yourself Toby. I'm sure one of us would be happy to help. I don't know where you're based but I can give you some pointers.

I am planning on it, first is a job next year. a .223 then reloading gear so it will be a while and im not sure how much .308 ammo I have left but the reloads were wicked on deer and I would prefer to get more like that have no idea what powder is but I found out what the projectiles are. but if it cost too much then too bad for me just handle highland since its cheapest in town

Re: Cost to get reloads made?

I got some done a while back pretty cheap from mark bridgeman also cliffe at the outdoorsman rotorua did me some up not long ago were faster and more accurate than the superformance ammo they replaced. Last lot cost 100 bucks for 40 rounds including load development. All i gAve him was the brass. If you supplied brass and projectiles and didnt need development would very economical

Just buy superformance from the shops until you can afford your own gear
Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

It's a Savage or something dropped into an Evolution stock. They are available for a few common actions.

Don't bother getting into reloading to save money cause it just doesn't happen.

Reload to get better options and performance. That's it.

I will wait until I have enough money to throw away then. I really want to do it for the pleasure and something to do new to learn.

Re: Cost to get reloads made?

It costs my mate 160 odd dollars per hundred rounds. Developed for his rifle . Quite reasonable if you ask me.

Look at Titan reloading in the states. Really cheap to land the gear here. They have all you need. And look at you tube reloading vids for tips and safety. That's how I learned
