    He said only remove the decapping pin, not the button. That applies only if the brand of die allows that and the decapping pin is not integral with the button.

    I use this method all the time when load developing when I start firing a load and know straight away it is not worth continuing. Leaves me with rounds to pull apart. I always resize the neck to re-establish neck tension b4 loading again.
