Determining BC off measured velocity

Can anyone derive the BC of a 143gn ELDX from the recorded speed at different distances?

The G7 BC is .310

I tried JBM for G1 and got something. Close to Litz's .571.

use whats on the box/ internet to give you a base number then true it to suit your barrel at distance.

Yep did that, 0.571 is what Litz got and seemed to work with my rifle. Have a lab radar so interested to see how useful 2 measured speeds at a different distance works, and seems to very well.

Labradars function is very handy, sadly it only registers the velocities up to 100(?) m away and not further.

Especially helps getting correct BCs for bullets whose manufacturers are a bit "creative" with their determination. (looking at you Speer)

Yep out to 100y - Hornady just as bad.

Some of my hornady eldms i have had to increase the bc. have always used the listed bc from the different speeds that they list. works very well.

You have just summed it up in a nutshell.
Then just validate at the longest distance you shoot at.
Adjust the speed to suit not the bc.
Dint forget to load correct atmospherics at the time of validation.
Or buy the kestrel 5700 elite.
