Size: 2.19 MBJust picked up my new Dillon XL650 and set it up on my tiny work table that I drag out from the garage and load in the living room. What a fantastic machine! Produced 300rds in an hour as I'm still getting used to operating the machine. My little trusty lee (see on table) was great to learn procedures but obviously was slow to make larger batches of .223. I'm thinking of adding the Mini Mr bullet case and bullet feeder initially and would be interested to hear from guys who have used them on theres.

The purpose of this thread would be great to see your 550/650 setups (photos) and add any great tips you've found or mods you've done on them.

My suggestion, it don't have any potential to what it's capable without a case feeder and later a bullet feeder, i have one and because i don't have the money to top up the case feeder i struggle with the feeding… I have a friend in Alexandra who load 223 for pest control and he fully kitted his to perform… Just my opinion experience… GREAT MACHINE THOUGH!

Yes I definitely want to feed case and bullet. The Mini Mr bullet is a good starting compromise. I think I'll enjoy reloading as much as shooting the ammo with this machine

Case feeder priority in my opinion…

I have a Mr Bullet feeder and case feeder on my 650.
Can easily do 1000 rounds an hour on it (9mm or 38 super). Well worth the money if you shoot a few rounds.

Have the same setup (excluding the case feed) that you currently have for my 550 but with extra mount for empty cases.
Can load 5-600 rounds an hour easily on that (223, 308, 300 Blackout, 6.5 creedmoor).

I use a 550, no case or bullet feeder. No longer load for pistol calibres but use it now for loading 6.5TCU, Decap,Neck up and prime donor 223 brass in one go at the first station, loaded rounds out the other end

camera looks into each position on shell plate, good for powder check, other camera selection is looking into case feeder to let me know what's left. 20ga shotgun shell led through the guts and a bigger projectile box. Works good

1000 rds an hour!! Man this is going to be fun. I only shoot about 150-200/week so should be well worth it.

Thats a great idea, what sort of camera are you using? Do the views come up on that LCD screen?
