Experiences with Barnaul 7.62x39 125gn SP

    Hi all,

I'm wondering what peoples experiences with this is as looking at their ballistic chart (https://www.barnaul.co.nz/ballistic-...-62-x-39-125gn) it basically says zeroing at 25/200 should provide a variance of 3" (unless i'm reading it wrong). I was at the range at the weekend and could not verify this at all when trying to confirm at 100m (should be 3" high). Now the optic sight i was using was mucking around so i need a bit of practice setting it, but the ballistics really didn't seem right.

Therefore, simple question is for anyone using this, does your experience match with their advertised data?

    Thanks, .e.

reads to me like 200yd zero 3 inch high at 100yd...... having said that dunno that i would push this to be and effective kill shot at 200yd on deer some of the others (with alot more experience on this calibre)on here will chime in but for me the (self imposed) limit on this cal when i had one was 150 for goat 100 for deer but closer is better

That ammunition runs nicely in my howa. Scotty is right with a 200 zero its 3 1/2 in high at 100.
I prefer a 150 zero which gives a 3 inch drop at 200 and you are only just over an inch up at 100, basically pbr of 200 yds.
