As above. I have just seen a production 22-250 with a 1:9 twist built on a super short action. Anyone out there shooting a fast twist 22-250? What are your thoughts?

Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
Andy animal is Into the fast twist 22-250 tikka stuff.
I have a 1:9 that I shoot 75g Eldms out of predominantly. Goes good. I've shot 50g all the way up to 75g. W760, Staball 6.5 and 2206h have been my powders
I just went into my hornady app and looks like I've lost all my data when I transferred over to my new phone but off the top of my head about 3100fps and 24". I stopped chasing the speed a while ago, that's middle of the road.
Top velocity isn't a priority for me either but interested to know how much more it has in the tank than the 223rem with the heavier projectiles.

Can't remember exactly but I think 3250 would be achievable
Im, shooting a fast twist 22Creed(basically the same as the 22250) - its a totally different animal comparred to the 14t that will only shoot light pills. Dont think Ill ever shoot light pills on a 22cal again.
If interested, I've got several 7 and 8t barrels. 22-250 as well as 22-250 ackley reamers.
My 22 CM (made from a 1:9 Savage 223) is a laser with 75s at 3220 - that's a quite mild load, I'm sure someone will get a lot more ( but their barrel life will be very short!
Correct Friwi!
All I could get was the 73g eldm at the time and they are going really well in a hardy 1/8 twist 20inch and cruising along at 3100.
I tried the 88eldm but don't think the the 1/8 does them justice.
A 1/7.5 or 7 if you want to throw the big heavies
