Cheap magtec subs, or winchester power point either old or new type Australian but not American(which dont seem to expand much)
the 42gr seem very effective but pricey
+1 on the old Australia Winchester. The 555 Winchester is really inconsitant - not so much a problem in a bolt action, but can be a real head ache in a semi.Quote:

Winchester power points or cci. Remington were accurate in both bolt and semi but jamed alot or miss fired and feredal were accurate too but I found they dont really open

Mine is fond of Winchester subs - the 40gr ones at the moment but I might try the 42 once I finish the current brick.
CCi subs for a Ruger 10/22
CCI subs here too.
CCI subs mainly or Winchester subs when I can't find any CCI's.
Winchester 40 gr subs and Winchester Power Point 2nd
CCI subs for rabbits and possums. CCI SV for target and plinking, usually buy a brick every time I'm in the shop 'just in case' :thumbsup:
Have some CCI Blazer ammo for shits n giggles, but SV seems more accurate for me for my rifle.

Tried the winchester stuff , but its just not as accurate in my 10/22 ... now I just allow mates to use it when we're target shooting ;)
Maybe its ok in other rifles
